Workout tracker for Android, Wear OS, iPhone and Apple Watch

Outrep tells you what to lift today, and logs it from your wrist.

Tap the check and the set is logged with last week’s numbers filled in. Before every exercise the engine reads your last sessions and sets the target: add 2.5 kg, add a rep, hold, or deload. History, import and export are free forever.

No account required. Works offline. 344 exercises, 8 programs (3 free).

Proof 1

Beat last week, spelled out

Beat last week by 2.5 kg

Every set hit the top of the range and it was not brutal: add the increment, reps back to the bottom.

“You hit 8, 8, 8 at RPE 8 last time, so add 2.5 kg and aim for 6+.”

Beat last week by 1 rep

Some set fell short of the top: same weight, beat each set by a rep. Sets already at the top keep theirs.

“You did 8, 8, 7 at 80 kg last time, so keep the weight and beat each set by a rep.”

Deload, 10 % lighter

Two sessions in a row with half the sets 2 reps under the bottom: drop 10 %, floored to the increment, never under the bar.

“Two sessions in a row fell short of 10 reps, so drop to 70 kg and rebuild from 10.”

The targets are ghosted into the set row before you lift. One tap accepts. The full rule table is five lines long and every line is in the app under “Why?”.

Proof 2

Watch first, not watch too

  • Log a set from the wrist: − / Same / + and the check. The target is already on the dial.
  • Rest timer with a haptic when it ends, screen off, phone in the bag. An alarm revives it if the system kills the process.
  • Standalone when the phone is out of reach; everything mirrors to the phone within a second when it is back.
  • Ongoing chip and a watch-face complication with the next workout and “N targets to beat”.

Wear OS today. The Apple Watch app is built on the same shared engine and ships with the iOS beta.

Proof 3

Your data is yours

Import in one tap

Export a CSV from Hevy or Strong, open it with Outrep. Exercises are matched to the library, warm-ups and drop sets keep their type, duplicates are skipped on a re-import. A 2,000-set file imports in about 0.6 s.

The 60-second guide

Export any time

CSV with one row per set (Hevy layout, opens anywhere) or JSON with everything. Free, unlimited, no account. The app reminds you when your only copy is on one phone.

No tracking

No ads, no ad identifiers, no analytics SDK in the beta. Optional account, row-level security on the sync server, delete everything from the app. Privacy policy.

Questions

Does Outrep work offline?

Yes. Everything is stored on the phone in the app’s own database. Logging, history, the progression engine, the rest timer and the watch link all work with no connection. Sync is optional and additive.

Do I need an account?

No. The full app works without one. Create an account only if you want your history synced between devices or restored on a new phone; sign out to stop syncing, and delete the account from the app at any time.

Can I export my data?

Always, and free. Profile → Data exports a CSV (one row per set, in the same layout Hevy uses, so it opens in Hevy, Strong and spreadsheets) or a JSON with everything: workouts, routines, records and profile.

Does the watch work without the phone?

Yes. The Wear OS app starts an empty workout on its own when the phone is out of reach, logs sets, runs the rest timer with the screen off and syncs back when the phone is reachable again. The Apple Watch app follows the same design.

What does it cost?

Logging, history, watch apps, import and export are free forever. Outrep Pro is $3.99 a month, $29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $79.99 once for life. Your first three workouts run with Pro on, no card needed.
